Waste Oil Stove Burner – Modified

Internal burner design of my waste oil burning stove. I modified the end of the down tube and added a tube to directed the oil and air into the burner. This atomizes the oil some what better to give better control of the burn rate. After 6 to 8 hours of running the stove, the build-up on the flat steel plate that you see inside of the burner is mainly ash. It only takes about 30 seconds to clean it. Running this setup, I can burn 2 quarts (1/2 gallon) of oil an hour and up 2 gallons of oil per hour.
