It will take at least 5 more months for Kenya to know whether it will join the worlds elite group of oil producing nations. Energy Permanent Secretary, Patrick Nyoike says the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has requested for a 5 months extension of its oil exploration project in Isiolo. This comes in the wake of the discovery of traces of natural gas in the Bhogal 1 exploratory well, whose drilling begun in October last year.
This burner is run whit blower ang gas. Nozzle is 2,5mm and combustion pipe 60mm air is 6,6 m3 / min ( max.) In this run furnace is runned only 3min, gas 1,0 bar / air 50%.
I need advice. I've never fired with gas before. Do these burners look adequate? Is the yellow flame too much or should the flame be all blue? A yellow flame means unburned gas I think? Any input would be helpful.
