I was thinking about getting a large propane tank to run my gas logs and also run a line to the kitchen to use my gas stove. I was told that to be able to use my stove with propane instead of natual gas that I would have to change the jets. Is this a big job and is it expensive? Or should I just scrap the idea of doing this and continue to use the electric stove which we really don't like? I could use some pros and cons on this idea.

I am thinking of switching from an electric stove to a gas stove using propane, but i have no idea how many gallons of propane would be used in a year for just this appliance. Propane will be used primarily to power a stand alone back-up generator, which is not a daily use!

our group is entering a cookfest competition in our school. and the category for our group is side dishes... we need to make a side dish, which is cheap and doesnt need ovens or freezing.. one that could be made with a portable gas stove or electric stove, and doesnt need expensive ingredients... and preferrably vegetables, and could be made in under 1-2 hours..

I actually have cooked on a camp stove indoors before I "knew better", and everything was fine. But I wonder if I was just lucky. Now I have a terrible electric stove that I hate and all I can find online are dire warnings that I will die if I use my propane stove indoors.

Hi,
I have electric stove facility in my apartment. There is no gas pipe in our apartment. Gas cooks faster than electric one.

I was thinking to buy a Portable gas stove and a gas cylinder. Use it in the kitchen. Is it safe way to do? I want to cook fast. I am fed up with the electric one.
